Warda Rizwan
Warda Rizwan – Founder, GoGiveNow
My name is Warda Rizwan, and I am a 10th-grade student at Thunder Ridge High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. I am the founder of GoGiveNow, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting underserved individuals in my community, with a focus on healthcare and wellness. My passion for service is driven by a deep desire to bridge gaps in access to essential resources, particularly for homebound elders and those in need.
My commitment to healthcare was further solidified by two transformative experiences. A recent trip to Pakistan exposed me to the harsh realities of inadequate healthcare access for underserved communities, deepening my resolve to serve both locally and globally. Additionally, after breaking my knee and enduring significant pain, I developed a profound appreciation for the role of doctors—not just in treating illnesses but in providing comfort and emotional support. This experience strengthened my resolve to become a compassionate physician dedicated to both medical care and patient well-being.
Through GoGiveNow, I strive to empower communities, organize impactful volunteer efforts, and collaborate with local organizations to provide direct support where it is needed most. As a Muslim woman and a minority in America, I am also committed to breaking stereotypes and demonstrating the power of youth-led initiatives in driving positive change.goes here
